Route & Booking FAQs

Common questions travelers ask about our routes, timing, and vehicles before booking with CabSaudia.

Which routes does CabSaudia cover between Jeddah, Makkah, and Madinah?

We run private transfers on every core route between the two airports and the holy cities, including Jeddah Airport to Makkah, Makkah to Madinah, Madinah to Jeddah Airport, and the reverse direction of each. City-to-city pickups within Jeddah, plus Taif, Yanbu, Riyadh, and Dammam routes, are also available on request.

How long does the Jeddah Airport to Makkah route usually take?

Under normal traffic it takes around 1 to 1.5 hours, though this can extend during peak Umrah season or Hajj period when roads around the Haram get busier. Your driver will track your flight and adjust pickup timing rather than working off a fixed schedule.

Can I book a one-way trip, or do I have to pay for a round trip?

One-way bookings are available on every route, so you only pay for the leg you actually need. Round-trip and wait-and-return options exist as well, mainly for shorter trips like Makkah to Taif or Makkah to Taneem where many travelers prefer the driver to wait.

Do you offer a taxi for the Makkah or Madinah Ziyarat tours?

Yes, both cities have dedicated half-day ziyarat packages. In Makkah this covers stops like Jabal al-Noor, Jabal Thawr, Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah, while the Madinah tour covers Quba Mosque, Qiblatain Mosque, Uhud, and Baqee. These are booked as a single private trip rather than separate point-to-point fares.

Is there a quick taxi option to Masjid Aisha (Taneem) for re-entering Ihram?

Yes, this is one of our most frequently booked short routes. The round trip to Taneem usually takes 20 to 30 minutes including a short wait, which makes it easy to perform Umrah again for a family member during the same visit.

How far in advance should I book for the Hajj season routes?

We recommend booking Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah transport at least a few weeks ahead of Hajj, since vehicle availability tightens quickly as the season approaches. Earlier booking also gives us more flexibility to match the vehicle size to your group.

What vehicle options are available for longer routes like Riyadh to Makkah?

For long-distance routes we offer sedans for smaller groups, vans for families, and larger vehicles for bigger parties, with rest stops built into the journey. Let us know your group size when booking so we can match the right vehicle to the distance.

Do fares change depending on the route, time of day, or vehicle?

Fares are based mainly on distance and vehicle type rather than time of day, so a late-night airport pickup costs the same as a daytime one. Every fare is confirmed with you before the trip begins, whichever route you choose.

Still not sure which route fits your trip? Send us your itinerary on WhatsApp and we'll help you plan the right transfers between airports, cities, and ziyarat stops.
